Volunteer application

Volunteering for the Remote Pools Project brings together people from all across Australia, who are committed to supporting and working alongside local people to improve the health and vitality of remote communities.

Volunteer placements are available from October to March each year, for 4-week periods.

Applications for our coming season -October 2026 to March 2027- are now closed.


If you'd like to apply for future seasons, please complete the application form below and we will be in touch closer to recruitment reopening, around May 2027.


Placements in our partner communities are limited to around 20 volunteers and involve a comprehensive selection process. The first step in the process is to complete and submit the application form below:

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a National Crime Check, hold a valid NT Ochre card (Working with Children Clearance), and will receive training relevant to their volunteer role.
